Race Car Rentals have debuted 2 new cars and had their best day of racing so far.

Two-time Formula Ford state champion Peter Roggenkamp made a great return to racing in the new #28 Class 2F MX5, taking out 3rd place in the last race of the day and the "Commentators Choice" award for a impressive return to racing after a 6yr absence.

Renato Loberto had the job of debuting #27. After qualifying on 11th the team made some changes to the car enabling Renato to take 2nd place for the day in Class 2F and a Win in the last race of the day.

Team co-owner, Henri Van Roden won Class 2B on a day of very close racing. Henri wowed onlookers with his driving after four wheel-drifting onto the front straight whilst overtaking a car.

Lotus Trophy Series - QLD Raceway
Race Car Rentals driver Renato Loberto has taken out 1st place in the Lotus Elise Chance of a Lifetime competition, Experienced class. Matthew Buckley, who attended a driver training day at Morgan Park in #26 also had a great day. Matthew, less experienced than several of the other drivers put his training to good use and finished a close 2nd in the Novice class.

Top Gear Race Meeting - QLD Raceway
After 6 action-packed races, driver Renato Loberto finished 2nd in Class F and 5th outright for the day. A field of 12 MX5's provided the crowd with non-stop action in the Grand Prix Mazda MX5 Challenge at the recent AASA meeting at QLD Raceway. Team co-owner Brian Ferrabee also broke his own lap record for MX5's on the National Circuit in his #24 Class 2B MX5.

QRDA State Championships - Morgan Park
The team from RACEPACE did a great job on the #26 car, allowing Renato Loberto to be one of two Class F cars to break the unofficial 2F lap record for Morgan Park.

AMRS 1hr Enduro - QLD Raceway
Ex Formula Vee front-runner Nick Leontsinis joined Renato Loberto in the #26 MX5 for the 1Hr at QLD Raceway. Although they didn't come away with a class win, the whole team had a lot of fun and a great weekend of racing.
